So, I did what Stacy did & attempted to ask Duckie (Don’t laugh. He likes it when I call him that. Really.) if he would participate in the CYLC with me. His immediate response was “No. I like pigs & cows. Thanks.” There you have it. My husband is just not as nice as Matt. He couldn’t possibly make this as painless as possible. Aha.
Actually, this is not too much of a challenge for me at all. I was pesco-vegatarian for around two years of high school, where I consumed almost nothing other than rice with butter and mac&cheese. Totally healthy, right?
Going on day three (Which is day 2 for everyone else. I’m an early bird. Ha.) is still not so bad. I’m craving a little McDonald’s McDouble, but it’s not like “OMGMUSTHAVENOWRAWRRR” or anything. Breakfast was French Vanilla slimfast, snacks were banana nut cheerios (dry), lunch was artificially flavored (containing no real beef flavor – how they do that, I’m quite unsure. they’re magical.) french onion soup, & dinner for me will likely be some mashed potatoes & green beans. Duckie will have steak along with his mashed potatoes & green beans. Not me. Maybe I’ll take a photo. Hm.
I was going to go walking last night, but it rained. Same goes for tonight. This weather is absolutely dreadful. BLAH.

Matt was TOTALLY going to make chicken for his quesadilla tonight but as we were cooking, decided beans were good enough! It’s so easy to not eat meat when you fill it with other filling things, and I’m glad Matt is flexible enough to eat new things 🙂 Will your boy eat it without meat if it’s the only thing you make?
doubtful! he will probably add sliced ham or turkey in without telling me! haha.
I wanted to go for walks, too, but this weather is awful!
